Rover 60 Registration: STU 805 at the Great Western rally in 2004 The logbook shows that the vehicle was first registered by Denys Peter Basil Renwick of 123 Knott Lane, Hyde, Cheshire on 20th May 1954. My grandfather bought it in 1959 for £700 and it passed into my ownership in 1985 with 81,000 miles. Ely Service completed a tidy-up of the bodywork in April 2005 and attended to a few mechanical jobs (new clutch, engine mountings, unleaded conversion). Tony, Trevor and Doug did a great job (leading to 'best restoration' prize at the Great Western 2005). STU 805 has just returned home again from Ely Service following the second stage of restoration, an engine rebore with piston, big end shell and camshaft replacement.
